The Best Formula 1 Season Ever?

2010 has been a vintage year of Formula 1 action, with an incredible 5 way battle for the championship and changes from race to race as the cars develop at such a rapid rate. If this continues down to then finale in Abu Dhabi then we could be in for the best Formula 1 season ever.

It didn’t look like this would be the case at the start of the season as Red Bull turned up in Bahrain with a super quick car that trounced on the rest of the pack in terms of raw pace. But they couldn’t capitalise on this speed advantage as reliability issues played havoc and we saw Fernando Alonso bring his Ferrari home for victory on his debut.

Surely this was just a blip though as we expected Red Bull to turn up to the next races and dominate. But just as was the case in Bahrain they couldn’t capitalise on their incredible qualifying pace with race wins and we saw Jenson Button bring home his McLaren for victory twice as he judged wet conditions better then anyone else.

Facts on Formula 1 Lovers

Speeding on paved roads through some of the most exciting and beautiful cities in the world are Formula One race cars competing for victory. The races typically take place on winding city streets and are referred to as F1 circuits such as Circuit de Monaco in Monte Carlo. The races are both attended and seen on TV by people from all over the world. Formula One racing, considered by many people to be the most dangerous and difficult type of racing, requires top-notch athletic drivers, aerodynamic vehicles, an expert team to assist the driver, and lots of money.

The Vehicles
Formula One vehicles, created specifically for top speed, are single-seat, open cars with front and rear wings. The driver can actually manipulate the front wings during a race. The aerodynamics of the cars help drivers to reach speeds as great as 229.8 mph. This particular speed was registered by BMW Williams F1 team member Antonio Pizzonia during the Italian Grand Prix 2004. Two well-known manufacturers of F1 cars who build the entire vehicle are Ferrari and Renault. Independent manufacturers such as McLaren and Williams need to purchase their engines from another company.

AUTO RACING

Racing cars began soon after the start of automotive gasoline in nine century. The first race was from Paris magazine Le Petit Journal organized in 1894 to determine the best possible performance. A year later, the first real race from Paris to Bordeaux, France organized. International races began with the Gordon Bennett Cup Auto racing. Chicago is the site of the first automobile race in the United States in 1895.

It was the French who dominated the racing scene and French automobile club ACF has hosted a number of major international races, usually from or to Paris to connect to other major cities in Europe or France.

There are several types of most of the famous race car race car that uses the specially designed cars. In the car, the tires are not covered, and there are front and rear aerodynamic wings to improve the adhesion of the car on the track. The races will be closed in specially designed closed circuits or on special street circuits held during the event.
