History of the Sport

NASCAR is actually an acronym for National Association of Stock Car Auto Racing. The organization was founded in 1948 by Ed Otto and William France. Both men noted that the people enjoyed the race car, and must take a certain standardization of the industry behind the race for the riders a little bit up, and the race for the fair people to participate. Since we want to give more to the race course, the number of fans who pay to see – a natural step in the marketing of NASCAR want.

In the early years of NASCAR racing the cars were “strictly stock”, which usually means they want to make their release. But some disasters for those who have to convince the career of control events that some modifications for safety would be a prudent step. It was not long before further changes are allowed, speed, handling and other racing performance increase problems.

After another ten years, these kinds of careers that are serious about the sport began to make cars exclusively for racing. In these cases, the cars are usually included all the changes approved by NASCAR officials. For several years the body of the vehicle is, the stock cars similar to the early days of humanity – if only in appearance.

The fact that many people are attracted to NASCAR is not available to companies, the advertising opportunities will be lost. The period in the history of NASCAR marks the beginning of full-time work as drivers, promoters and pit crews of NASCAR racing. The first company that took advantage of advertising opportunities, is especially carmakers, even though the 1970s, hoping to increase substantially the number of firms that sponsored racers.
